Taylor Walton is the recipient of the second LHS International Travel Grant for the 2025-26 school year. With half of her travel expenses paid by this grant, Taylor and other LHS students will enjoy a trip to England and France during Spring Break, 2027.

LHS International Travel Grant
​​​
Thanks to an anonymous donor, Tri-Creek Education Foundation facilitates a grant opportunity to qualifying students to participate in a Lowell High School international trip at half price. This grant pays for half of the student's travel expenses.
Applications are reviewed and qualifying students will participate in an interview process.
This need-based grant will be given to an LHS student with a minimum GPA of 2.5, who is eager to participate in this trip, but has limited financial resources. The grant provides 50% of the travel company program cost through EF Tours with the expectation the recipient will pay the remaining costs. The recipient is a student who has experienced hardships, who could not participate without this grant, and is eager to expand life possibilities because of the trip. The recipient demonstrates the values of LHS: Perseverance, Reliability, Integrity, Drive, and Empathy.​​
