Congratulations to Laina Sanchez, recipient of Tri-Creek Education Foundation Inc's first LHS International Travel Grant! Laina was selected after an application and TCEF interview process and she will join fellow LHS students on a trip to Peru in March of 2026. Her grant, funded by an anonymous donor, will pay half of Laina's travel costs.

Tri-Creek Education Foundation will be offering a grant opportunity for one qualifying student to participate in a Lowell High School international trip at half price.
This need-based grant will be given to an LHS student, with a minimum GPA of 2.5, who is eager to participate in this trip, but has limited financial resources. The grant provides 50% of the travel company program cost through EF Tours with the expectation the recipient will pay the remaining costs. The recipient is a student who has experienced hardships, who could not participate without this grant, and is eager to expand life possibilities because of the trip. The recipient demonstrates the values of LHS: Perseverance, Reliability, Integrity, Drive, and Empathy.
