Grants

1. Competitive  
   Awarded once per calendar year during the Foundation's grant cycle and allow applicants to submit projects for which they would like to receive funding.  Based upon the requirements of the competitive grant, the projects are reviewed and actually 'compete' for funding.  
   
2. Donor Directed  
   Offered throughout the calendar year and are funded with gifts made by various donors.  The grants are awarded to programs or projects in which the donor has an interest.  The following are the Donor Directed Grants awarded to date.
   
3. Professional Development
    
4. General/Individual 
   Awarded for use in special circumstances, which may or may not occur during the Foundation's grant cycle.  General Grants are awarded at the discretion of the Foundation's Board of Directors.
